Located at Industrial Area #13 Sharjah, SKM operates out of a modern state of the art 75,000 m2 factory, making it one of the largest air conditioned facilities of its kind in the Middle East. It is equipped with the latest technology and most advanced machinery to produce air conditioning equipment that best serves the market needs. The facility is certiified by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001:2018.
Continuing with the expansion program to cater every corner of the region, SKM established another HVAC factory in the 2 nd Industrial City in Dammam, Saudi Arabia in the year of 2002. It is dedicated to the production of various air conditioning equipment. The facility is certified by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001:2018.
Four decades ago, SKM commenced production of air conditioning equipment at industrial area 1 Sharjah. At the outset, SKM sourced collaboration and technical agreements with manufacturers around the world.
Continuing to comply with international product design standards, in 1984 SKM completed an ambitious production facility expansion program and entered into a licensing and technical agreement to manufacture standard packaged and ducted split air conditioning units.
In SKM’s endeavour to provide its customers with the latest and updated technology, in 1994, SKM entered a Technology Transfer Agreement to produce energy efficient products with unique applications for the Gulf area
In 1995, SKM received ISO 9001 certification certifying that quality management systems are being implemented in the company.
Continuing with expansion plans, SKM shifted its production facility from Industrial Area 1 to Industrial Area 13 Sharjah; it is a modern state of the art 43,000 m2 factory, making it one of the largest air conditioned facilities of its kind in the entire Gulf region. It is equipped with the latest technology and most advanced machinery to produce air conditioning equipment that best serves the market needs.
In the same year, SKM also established another HVAC factory in the 2nd Industrial City in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It is dedicated to the production of various air conditioning equipment.
In the same year, SKM also received TÜV Certification for its Modular Air Handling Units (MAH).
Complying with international quality standards, SKM received ISO 14001 Certification certifying that it’s complying with environmental management standards set by ISO.
In the same year SKM also received TÜV Certification for its Packaged Air Conditioners (PAC-L) Series.
In May 2011, SKM received Sharjah Economic Excellence Award Gold Category, being recognised for its quality products and higher standards.
During the same year, SKM also became the recipient of OHSAS 18001 Certification certifying that it is conforming to occupational health and safety.
In the year of 2014, SKM received TÜV certification for its Hygienic Air Handling Units which has special application in hospitals, laboratories and where absolute clean air is required.
